Yoga is much more than just a way that we move our bodies into different shapes or breathe in certain ways. Yoga is about moving inwards, into the Self. To do that, we need to start to develop tools to be still and look within, to cope with what we see, and to act on what we learn.

The practice of Yoga, and spiritual practices in general, have helped me cope with life enormously and it sounds cliché but they honestly changed my life. I was looking for a framework to be able to take these teachings further and I looked at everything from counselling to psychology, etc but I settled on coaching.

For me, a coach is not there to give advice or come up with solutions to solve a problem, rather the coach is there to use effective and powerful questions in order to uncover the thinking that created the problem in the first place. Great coaches can guide a client to get to the core of the problem rather than focusing on strategies to manage the problem.

coaching sessions

In sessions that last for around 45 minutes we will start a dialogue drawing on as much curiosity as we can. There are no right or wrong answers, only explorations.

We can work on any topic or area of your life that you feel there are gaps or stretches. In other words, areas where you feel there is the opportunity for growth. Common topics are procrastination, feeling stuck or like there is a lack of control, a lack of clarity around the future, body image issues, overwhelm or anxiety and relationship challenges.

Because I have yoga and meditation expertise I have the added benefit of being able to bring these practices into a coaching session for a well rounded approach to mental, emotional and physical wellness.
